"Margot" Built by the Jakobsen Shipyard in Oysterbay NY is one of the few operating "Super Canalers" constructed specifically to transit between East Coast Ocean Ports and Great Lakes Ports utilizing the New York State Canal System. "Margot's" telescopic wheelhouse and heavy construction enable her to safely lock-through "Canal Max" barges.
